EU ready to ban SVHC – more concerned about finding alternatives to toxic substances

SVHC or Substance of Very High Concern is a category of substances which poses risks to the human beings and existence, influencing the genuine eco-system with irreversible effects. However,  the European Union has decided to reduce the applications of such substances that are harmful in effects such as bioaccumulative, causing infertility, toxic or carcinogenic so that sustainable environment of production and application can be build-up.
