Emery Oleochemicals apply the ozonolysis technology for production of bio-polyols

According to a recent announcement by Emery Oleochemicals, production in the latest bio-polyol plant in Cincinnati has reaches to the mechanical completion. More to know about the plant is that it will strengthen the company’s efficiency for offering a wide variety of bio-friendly productions and services. The project has been designed with the goal of boosting capacity and technical efficiencies in the production of performance based polyols. This is all to be applied in the furniture, automotive, bedding and appliances industry. The project was declared in 2012 and met it’s initial pre-commissioning activities till the end of same year. Especially, regarding the field of area renewable based polyols. With the help of ozonolysis technology, the company has planned a strategy of wide scale production of biobased polyols.

According to the statement of Jay Taylor, Senior Vice President of the company, once after the beginning of commercial operation, the bio-polyol plant will demonstrate extensive capacities of high performance and cost effective products.  Further he says that the company has done outstanding job with the help of 100 workers and external consultants, the facility offers awesome opportunities to be explored by potential customers. Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Group Chief Executive Officer represented pleasure for reaching the first critical milestone.
