Total’s efforts of developing eco-friendly bio products is also a milestone towards the goal of attaining sustainability.
On the other hand, Mike Hamilton, the CEO of Renmatix states that joining the development agreement with a global oil and gas leader like Total is really a way towards signaling the importance of cellulosic sugars on the way to growth of bio-economy. This approach is also directly related to the transformative impact of Plantrose technology. This is how Total can help more to allow Renmatix to work with the pace setters of forestry, fuel and chemistry. The Plantrose technology of Renmatix utilizes hot pressurized water in the form of solvent and works for reducing costs for conversion of biomass to cellulosic sugars.
