Amcor Flexibles to develop bio-based packaging bags for Hovis

Amcor Flexibles is again in discussion nowadays due to development of polyethylene food bags for Hovis. The packaging solution provider is working for evolution of eco friendly packaging material with the use of renewable resources. The Hovis seed bags are developed with PE and are known well for lowering the carbon footprint up to 75% in comparison of conventional plastic made packaging bags.
The product is called as the first premium stuff which is launched again with the incorporation of renewable bags made up of PE.  According to the marketing manager of Hovis, Richard Mcquillan, the company is now leading towards a great breakthrough with the new bio-based packaging bags.
