Evonik to develop production strategy of polyamide 12

Evonik worked well for development of totally undeveloped integrated plant to manufacture polyamide 12 for about five decades in Marl Chemical Site. Now, the company has elaborated its production up to 5,000 metric tons, that’s how giving hike to the supply of VESTAMID. Apart from the production of this highly efficient polymer, production of VESTOSINT, a polyamide powder has been promoted. For this purpose, the company is now planning improvement of traditional process for production of polyamide 12. With promotion of polymers’ production, butadiene and CDT free route are also being subjected for development. Read full story on this matter here at –
