An announcement by NatureWorks and Northern Technologies International Corp revealed that both of these companies are going to collaborate on sales and marketing of Ingeo in India and neighbor countries. Ingeo is an advance bioplastic hosting commercial utilization including flexible and strong packaging, personal care productions, textiles and appliances and electronics. The recent discovery regarding the use of this natural bioplastic is 3D printing.
Initial sales and marketing deals are mainly focused on flexible packaging for food items and paper based packaging. NatureWorks and NatureTec will together work on projects leading to waste decrease projects with regulatory agencies.
