SEAFRONT, the European project has started from Jan, 2014. The main objective of this project is to discover eco friendly coatings for prevention of unwanted development of marine organisms’ community on ships, boats and power plants. This extensive coating is designed for promotion of substantial reduction of CO2 emissions, operational efficiencies; moreover this minimizes the chances of negative impact upon the marine environment. According to the statement of bio-on’s CEO Marco Astorri, the company is extremely happy to take part in the SEAFRONT project; this is definitely an awesome consortium. As they are highly interested for investigation of potential elements in this direction, they love to participate in collaboration to develop eco friendly solutions round the marine eco system.
