Solazyme Commences Marketable Production in Brazil

The first successful commercial production has been taken place involving 625,000L fermentation tanks. According to the statement of Solazyme, the company is now engaged in production of large scale facilities such as 20 ktpa Iowa facilities in Clinton, 100 ktpa facilities in Brazil and 2 ktpa integrated facility in Peoria. Covering the entire oleochemicals market for over 10 years, Solazyme has proven its significance in the industry and secured extensive position in the list of world class oleochemical dealers.
