According to head of communications at European Bioplastics, Kristy Barbara Lange, all over in the world, Thailand and U.S. are those countries possessing investment in bioplastics production programs. She experienced that over US $ 60 million has been invested in detailing of bioplastics development roadmap by Thailand. While she says that Europe does not report any reliable or concrete plan for bioplastics development and this shows lesser investment of the country for bioplastics manufacturing.
SPI in U.S. aims for development of a toolkit that will help to spread education in municipalities and bioplastic related parties.
