PELAGONIA ready to invest into long value chain of biofeeds and bioproducts

In a recent update, PELAGONIA is going to be engaged in the production of sustainable crops so that feeds and other products can be derived from improved harvesting ration. EU state Macedonia will offer the growing land for such sustainable crop production over 200 square kilometers which has been considered as degraded and abandoned for the last few years.

The local farmers will also provide their contribution in this effort to grow crops such as switchgrass and non-food sorghum with an aim which will lead to quality food production, feeds and biofeedstock harvest at the end, as http://en.european-bioplastics.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Pelagonia_Fact_Sheet.pdf has reported.

In addition to this, an innovative processing technology DuPont will be implemented in order to produce most demanding sustainable product, cellulosic bioethanol, which will fit best to the global needs of biofuel, bioplastics and biochemicals.

It is further estimated that PELAGONIA is ought to receive millions Euros funds through FDI, quality finance and loan channels in the next time span of 2015-20, which will be superbly invested in the future valued chain of biobased products.

http://en.european-bioplastics.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Pelagonia_Fact_Sheet.pdf is of the view that PELAGONIA has been trying its best to get latest and most advance technologies related to ethanologen, seed development and precision farming from the outer world so that market volatility and price fluctuations can be consolidated in the long run.
