AIMPLAS thanks to garlic molecules for biodegradable packaging and durable approach in fruit containers

AIMPLAS, the Spanish center for modification and manufacturing of plastic tech products is engaged in a joint European project in co ordination with PLA4FOOD containers; it is really an important step in the world of commercialization. The joint project has been established for the production of far durable fruits and vegetables containers. The production of these bags is based upon natural food additives such as garlic. One more important thing about the latest collection of fruit containers is its renewable property; the biodegradable bags can be easily renewed for cheaper manufacturing as well as environmental protection deals.

This is for the first time when AIMPLAS and PLA4FOOD both are working together in a joint project for the development of technical food packaging. The exclusively developed fruit bags and vegetable containers are made up of polyactic food for the packaging of sprouts, frozen food and salads etc.  Report is here that the special technique of production of these packaging bags improves the durability of the product up to 15 percent. Some nautrlichen extracts are used to bring this property. Garlic is the main extract in this series that employs antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant environment within the pack.
