Kingfa receives USD162700 funds for research and production work in biodegradable plastic industry

In a progressive and Eco-friendly scenario, Science and Information Technology Bureau of Luogang District in Guangzhou city has approved the program of Research, Development and Industrialization of Completely Biodegradable High-Performance Packaging material for Kingfa. The company is now eligible to receive funds of USD 162700 for this excellent program.

This program will emphasize on the commercial production and development of PBSA, which is nothing but an improved version of PBS which will be available for consumer needs at decreased price levels due to continuity in production. Kingfa has already achieved its production of 30000 ton per annum in 2011 from the past 5000 ton per year of 2007. Due to blending of PBSA with PLA and starch, it is ought to offer superb mechanical properties and process-ability due to which the product is best suited for use in packaging industry.

As per the reports of, China consumes lesser biodegradable plastic products rather manufacturing companies export more products to foreign market. It is estimated that future market of the biodegradable plastic industry is ought to grow rapidly in near future if it receives regular support from the local government.

No doubt, the Chinese government is bringing and implementing new policies and guidelines that will assist the research work, development and production of biodegradable plastic products and other packaging materials.
