Avantium is named as Europe’s Cleantech Company of the Decade

Cleantech group is an advisory firm and reputed global research group offering innovation to the world of eco friendly products. The Dutch based technology utilising company, Avantium has been selected as the European Cleantech Group recently. Production of PEF is the main objective of Avantium. CEO of the company, Tom Van Aken stated that they want to produce a bio-based plastic with high performance feature at really affordable cost. Although, it is a challenging deal to carry out still we love to enjoy that kind of challenge according to them still they are certain to meet their demand. Avantium prefers imparting its efforts for development of PEF which is completely an analogue of PET. The product is nothing but a biobased and recyclable polyester possessing potential of replacing traditional fossils fuel. Extension of product’s life and reduction of manufacturing cost are also some factors on which they work.
