Cardia Bioplastics is planning to set up a new plant in Brazil for production of films and bags. The company has already attained many achievements in the field of manufacturing sustainable resins. According to the company’s spokeperson, expectations are there that the plant will be able to produce up to 500 million carry bags annually; definitely this is much more than the current production of the company’s plant in China. The Brazil based plant of the company is excellent in bag making and it has established itself within 2 years only as a reputed carry bag provider in the world. The best thing to know about this whole scenario is that the carry bags developed by the company are eco friendly. The company has signed contract with the world class retailers of Brazil, Drogaria Araujo and Ricoy Supermercados.

Latin American Managing director of the company, Joao Pulo Mignot states that there is a huge retail market in Brazil for sales of its eco friendly carry bags. He further adds that apart from planning for good production of environment friendly carry bags, the management is looking for further growth in business to deliver the orders swiftly. The company won promotion in local sales order in 2014 during its participation in APAS 2014 fair.
