Trellis Earth Products declared that the company will soon start operating the former Seymour of Cereplast at the production site. Trellis now possesses assets of Cereplast along with the patents, equipments, trademarks and even inventory. During the first week of August, Metabolix declares about 25 million dollars security which is owned by certain members of the company, investors and Board of Directors of Oracle Investment Management Inc. The entire market is being developed with international demand of bioplastics. According to the estimation, about 19 percent rise in production of bioplastics will take place till 2017; while the current production in the same is 950,000 metric tons.
