Toray to launch completely plant based polyester yarn in future

Toray is engaged in development of the world’s first completely bio-based polyester yarn which is produced from renewable components. The company is Japan based chemistry giant, also specializing functional fabrics is making new records now. Actually, when it comes upon bio-based fabric, only partial plant based polyesters are there in the market but now Toray is going to represent completely plant based polyester yarn for development of the product called as ecodear. According to the spokesperson of the company, the yarn is ready in the lab and is expected to be launched in market for mass production in 2020.
