Resin
Trade Ltd. Chose Duo UK, the Manchester based polyethylene bag developer for
becoming the first UK based developer to manufacture bio-based bags. For the
production of these mailing bags, thermoplastic resin made up of sugarcane
ethanol will be used. The America based petrochemical developer Braskem
developed green polyethylene; the company has signed a contract for partnership
with Resin Trade recently for distribution of its products in Ireland and UK.
According to the explanation given by the commercial director of Duo, Anthony
Brimelow, the company is enjoying great increase in demand of its bio-based
products. The customers of the company are supporting well by playing their
part in social responsibilities policies. One of the most impressive things
about bio-based PE is that it is eco friendly and sustainable product to extend
all the way down the production chain.

Although,
the process and machinery employed for production of green PE is same as the
standard polyethylene goods but the major outcome comes in the form of
biodegradability which depends upon the use of bio-based raw material. On the
other hand, Richard Lambart, the Sales Manager of Resin Trade stated that Green
PE is an awesome product and the company is pleased to introduce it to the UK
