Wageningen University to compile the first edition of bio-based packaging catalog

The Wageningen University in Netherlands has compiled the first edition of bio-based packaging catalog. This catalog has been represented by the Ministry of Economics affair to the NVC Netherlands packaging center. As sustainable packaging is being emphasized much by various productions companies of the world, the catalog has been designed to offer a comprehensive overview of different kinds of bio-packaging options available now and applications where they are being used. The ideas mentioned in the catalog have been put together in collaboration with various producers of bio-packaging materials. The objective of this catalog is to track possibilities for utilization of bio-based packaging and sustainable products on commercial level.
