Coca Cola awarded ABRE 2014 beverage packaging prize for using Tetra Pak’s bio-based cartons

Tetra Pak is currently in discussion for the discovery of bio-based cartons prepared with LDPE i.e. Low Density Polyethylene films developed from sugarcane. Now, Del Valle Reserva Juice of Coca Cola has been awarded with the 2014 ABRE awards Beverage packaging prize for being the first brand to utilize tetra Pak cartons. The important fact to be taken under consideration in this series is that this brand in Tetra Prisma has over 200 million customers in Brazil per annum. As per the business strategy, Del Valle Brand of Coca Cola has been introduced with bio-based cartons 13 billion packs to over 150 customers in April 2014. According to a report, utilization of LDPE promotes the renewable content up to 78 percent in tetra Aseptic packing by Coca Cola.

Del Valle, is an effort for participation in innovative environment friendly deals. The company’s management is pleased to know that Coca Cola won this prize.
