Launch of "Ecoriginal Baby" nappies made with Cardia Compostable films

Ecoriginals, which is an Australian company developing eco-friendly baby care products, has partnered with Cardia Bioplastics in order to produce compostable baby nappies which are affordable and of a high quality. Ecoriginals have launched their “Ecoriginal Baby” range of nappies with the objective of gaining a share in the $500 million nappy market of Australia. This partnership shows Cardia’s growing and diverse portfolio of innovative eco-friendly products for the consumers.

As per the arrangement, Ecoriginals are using Cardia Compostable films for the nappy packaging and nappy back sheets, making the entire nappy very suitable for consumers that are conscious for the wellbeing of their child and the planet. Ecoriginals is also being supplied with Cardia Compostable bin liners and nappy bags.

Managing Director of Cardia Bioplastics, Dr. Frank Glatz, believes that Biohybrid and Compostable hygiene films and the Cardia Compostable film and resin technology help companies reduce their carbon footprint and make their products compostable and eco-friendly.

Lisa Laing, who is the co-founder of Eco-originals states that with the expertise and compostable films provided by Cardia, they will be able to bring the latest developments to the Australian parents in the form of “Ecoriginals Baby” nappies.
