Global Bioenergies selects Linde for the pilot plant

The latest news here is about Global Bioenergies, the company that claims to pick the Linde group. The company’s spokesperson stated that the isobutene molecule cannot be accessed through cheaper C2 fraction of natural gas. Global Bioenergies has a multibillion dollar business in the US market which is planning to introduce designing of the second industrial pilot plant for the production of bio-isobutene in Leuna, Germany. The company is nowadays strengthening its position in the country by founding a subsidiary in Leipzig. Also, this Bioenergetics group has signed a partnership with Audi for renewable gasoline. The grant of €5.7m for the pilot project has been declared by the Germany Ministry of Research.
